Es ist soweit! Wir präsentieren euch den ersten öffentlichen StAgEz Salon!

Das erste Mal wird direkt zu einem Highlight. Am 25.08.20 um 20 Uhr wird Denis Okurmu, Mitbegründer der Edu Child Foundation Uganda, seine Erfahrungen präsentieren, wie die Sustainable Developement Goals (SDGs) in Afrika umgesetzt werden und steht uns anschließend für Fragen und nette Gespräche bereit. Aufgrund von Covid-19 findet das Ganze natürlich online statt, der Link wird rechtzeitig über Social Media und auch hier auf der Website veröffentlicht.

Der Salon wird in englischer Sprache stattfinden.

Da das Thema niemand besser beschreiben kann als Denis selbst, hier ein paar Worte von ihm:

„Regarding the theme of discussion, I indeed proposed to share about „Localizing SDGs in Africa – Progress, Challenges, and Opportunities.“ a theme that I felt directly related to the line of work that we are doing through Edu Child Foundation Uganda. My discussion is aimed at sharing some insights in regards to how most African nations have adopted the SDGs as a module for societal transformation in line with their local contexts. I hope to throw some lights on key progresses realized, challenges met, and opportunities encountered in the pursuit of these goals in Africa. I hope by the end of the discussions, participants will be able to get an insight into how far the SDGs have impacted most developing nations, especially those in Africa from a first-hand witness perspective.“
